J. Michael Cockrell

President, TEPPCO Crude GP, LLC
Senior Vice President, Commercial Upstream

J. Michael Cockrell is senior vice president of Commercial Upstream of the general partner of TEPPCO Partners, L.P., one of the largest publicly traded pipeline limited partnerships. He also serves as president of TEPPCO Crude GP, LLC. He is responsible for all upstream supply and marketing.

Cockrell joined PanEnergy in 1987 and served in a variety of positions in supply and development, including vice president of Duke Energy Transport and Trading Company. He was elected to his present position in January 2003.

A native of Stroud, Okla., Cockrell attended Oklahoma State University.

Cockrell was born August 1, 1946.
