John N. Goodpasture

Vice President, Corporate Development

John N. Goodpasture is vice president of Corporate Development of the general partner of TEPPCO Partners, L.P., one of the largest publicly traded pipeline limited partnerships. Goodpasture is primarily responsible for finding and evaluating new business opportunities for TEPPCO.

Goodpasture joined TEPPCO in November 2001 from Enron Corp. where he served as Vice President of Business Development for Enron Transportation Services. During his tenure, he was responsible for new business development, including acquisitions, divestitures and alliances. Prior to joining Enron, Goodpasture served in various executive positions over a 20-year period with Seagull Energy Corporation, most recently as president of Seagull Pipeline & Marketing Company. He began his career with Union Carbide Corporation in 1970, serving in a variety of middle management positions for the corporation including Business Manager, Pipelines and Storage, and Natural Gas Supply Manager.

He is currently a member of the board of the End Hunger Network of Houston, and has in the past served in various volunteer positions with Junior Achievement, YMCA youth services, and the “Sunshine Skier Program” at M.D. Anderson Cancer and Tumor Institute.

Goodpasture was born June 4, 1948 in Oklahoma City, Okla. In 1970, Goodpasture earned a bachelor of science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. He and his wife, Paula, have two daughters.
