Emergency Plan

In the unlikely event of a leak, TEPPCO will immediately initiate our Emergency Response Plan. This response plan includes measures to promptly and effectively shut down the pipeline, dispatch responders and take measures designed to protect the safety of the public, employees and the environment. Response activities include proper notification of local, state and federal agencies; and control, containment and recovery of any released product.

Safety of the public and responding personnel is always our highest priority. In the event of any emergency, TEPPCO will use both our own trained response personnel and professional emergency response contractors as needed to quickly control the situation.
